Terms of Service
1. Who provides this Service
Tyscorpa Academy ("the Service") is operated by Giovanni Coronado (ABN 22 961 262 569), 13 Alan Street, Kings Park, Victoria, Australia. Contact: info@tyscorpa.com.
By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. Not affiliated with CompTIA
CompTIA® and Security+® are registered trademarks of the Computing Technology Industry Association. Tyscorpa Academy is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, authorised, endorsed by, or sponsored by CompTIA. Those marks are used only to describe which exam this material prepares for.
Our questions are original practice material written against the published exam objectives. They are not actual exam questions, and we do not provide, reproduce, or have access to real exam content. Attempting to obtain or share real exam content violates CompTIA's candidate agreement and can invalidate your certification.
3. No guarantee of exam results
The Service is a study aid. Practice scores predict nothing with certainty, and we do not guarantee that you will pass any certification exam. Exam content, weighting and objectives are set by the certifying body and can change without notice.
4. Your account
- Provide accurate registration details and keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been accessed by someone else.
- One account per person. Do not share credentials.
- We may confirm your email address before granting access to some features.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
5. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Copy, scrape, republish or resell our questions or study material
- Share your account so others can avoid registering
- Attempt to break, overload, probe or circumvent the Service's security or rate limits
- Use automated tools to create accounts or extract content in bulk
- Upload unlawful content or use the Service to harm others
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Where the breach is not serious, we will try to warn you first.
6. Our content
The questions, explanations, study material and software are ours or our licensors', and are protected by copyright. Your account grants you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own study. It does not transfer ownership of anything.
7. Access and pricing
The Service is currently free while it is being evaluated with early users. We intend to introduce a paid membership in future, at which point some features may move behind it.
If we introduce paid tiers, we will give existing users advance notice by email before any feature they are currently using becomes paid. Nobody will be charged without explicitly subscribing.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we perform maintenance that can cause downtime.
9. Closing your account
You may request deletion of your account at any time by writing to info@tyscorpa.com. Deletion removes your account and test history as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Consumer rights and liability
Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those guarantees, and nothing below applies to the extent it would exclude, restrict or modify them.
Subject to the above, the Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or AUD $100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost study time, or exam fees.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will update the date above and notify registered users by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protections available under the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
